Release guides are written from the perspective of the Product Area, not the software product; that is, they are based on the technical product and not on the end product as the customer buys it. For example, a release guide may include features that the customer actually (or additionally) sees in another software product. It also means that a feature may include things that need to be configured in another product. The feature summary will detail where the customer sees the feature, and you should also refer to that product’s guide for a complete customer view of new features.
